For SMP, the building in which we draw, plan, and create has a story. A former carriage house built circa 1879, the space now houses our open-plan office and collaborative work space. Our drafting tables reflect the way we operate: with focus and concentration, yet in an atmosphere that invites team feedback, open discussion, and strategizing with our clients.
SMP’s offices are located in Concord, within blocks of three of our most prominent projects (Capital Center for the Arts, Red River Theatres, and the Concord Community Music School). Designed to honor our history, our space reflects our character and inspires our future, as we continue serving businesses, institutions, municipalities, and private individuals across New Hampshire and beyond.
The former carriage house that we call home.
Even just through the front door you'll find fun artifacts that reflect our passion for design and detail.
At the front desk you'll find our office manager Andrea hard at work — with a smile, of course!
Our kitchen — a frequently visited destination for coffee... and more coffee.
Our meeting space where we go over plans and discuss project details. Coffee is very nearby.
Our open, collaborative workspace, where you'll find as much character in the people as you will in the architecture.
There's a story behind our prized bent level — perhaps we'll save it for another time...
In one of our back rooms you'll find our many material samples and design resources.
There's nothing better than relaxing as a team on our porch at the end of the day.
Come back again soon!
